Expedition Equipment List
As many of our trips involve camping, students will need certain equipment. The following is a comprehensive list, but don’t worry, you are not expected to buy everything on it.

Day Pack List
Exl Students come prepared. Here is a list of items that are required for every expedition, including day trips, unless otherwise noted. This pack can be similar to a school backpack but should not be the students day to day school bag:
● Backpack liner (3 extras)
● Notebook (inside a protective cover) and ExL sketchbook
● Pencils and pens
● Water (minimum of 2 bottles)
● Raingear (top, bottom, and hat/hood)
● A layer
● Necessary materials related expedition
● Watch
Chaperone Packing List
Chaperones need to be prepared too! Here is a list of items needed for overnight expeditions:

CRPUSD Volunteer Application
All expedition chaperones need to be approved by the district to volunteer. This is a one time process. If you have been cleared at one of the CRPUSD elementary schools, you are clear through high school in the district. Find the information and application here:
Driver Certification
ExL depends on volunteer drivers for the expeditions to happen! All vehicles need to be certified on an annual basis. Find the requirements here:
